Hello Everyone,
It has been a few weeks since my last entry so I will try to bring everyone up to speed. First off the big news. It is going to be a boy! We are going to name the new baby Porter Alexander Weight. The kids are all very excited. They all wanted a boy. Natalie knew all along that it was a boy. I honestly had no idea. The best quote on this has to come from Madeleine. She thought that the doctor would ask Natalie to open her mouth very wide and then he would stick a camera inside her mouth and be able to see the baby. We took all the kids with us to the ultrasound. It was a fun for them to see how it really works.
Parker was lucky enough to have Max and Ryley come and spend the weekend. He even got to miss a day of school. They spent most of their time either playing guitar hero or playing in the snow. It is always a good time for Parker when he has some boy cousins to play with. Parker scored his first two points. We were all very proud and cheered extra loud for him. He is enjoying his basket ball team and loves to play.
Madeleine had her 5 year old check up. She got 4 shots and a finger prick. She was very nervous to go to the doctor. She was brave though and decided that after it was over the the shots were not that bad. She did think it was funny that she had to go to the bathroom in a cup. The day after her visit with the doctor she thought it was time for her to start Kindergarten. She didn't understand why she had to wait because now that she had had her shots she was ready to go.
Lauren would be happy to stay in her p.j.'s all day long. She is way into American Gladiators. She loves the Character Wolf. She is very happy when Wolf wins his match. She will howl with him and laughs at all the antics.
Natalie is as upbeat as ever. The morning sickness is not as bad now. She does get tired now and then. We got to attend stake conf. It was great to attend the meetings. We even got us brothers to go to dinner with the wives after the adult session on Saturday night.
I have spent the last week setting up my weight lifting bench. I started lifting on Monday and am already sore all over. But it is a good pain. Mitch talked Me Pat and Jay into taking a ride up to the ranch last Saturday. We only made it to beehive flat before halving to turn around because of all the snow. I would guess it is about 4 feet deep. What fun!
